Harmony Acupuncture is one of the first Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture clinics in the San Francisco Bay Area and East Bay that is entirely dedicated to treating male and female infertility and reproductive health through menses regulation, fertility enhancement, pregnancy, childbirth and menopause.

Acupuncture and herbs are very successful in treating male and female infertility, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), elevated FSH, premature ovarian failure (POF), luteal phase defect, low egg quality, sperm parameters, miscarriage prevention, PMS, and menopausal symptoms.
Our protocols have taken many years to develop and are individualized and tailored to each patient’s needs.
We are highly trained as practitioners of Chinese medicine and we work side by side with your Western physician to optimize your clinical results. We, also, work closely with many infertility centers in our area and have hospital rights to assist with labor and delivery.

Recent research showed acupuncture on day of embryo transfer significantly improved the reproductive outcome in infertile women. 39% pregnant versus 26% in non acupuncture group.
The on going pregnancy rate also favored acupuncture 36% versus 22% (Fertility and Sterility, May 2006).
In April 2002, German researchers reported that for women combining acupuncture with IVF increased their success rates by 50%.
Also, a European study has shown 8 acupuncture treatments twice a week for 4 weeks prior to IVF (in vitro fertilization) increases blood flow to uterine arteries which results in increased pregnancy rates.
