Luteal Phase Defect
I was 29 when I first started going to Harmony Acupuncture and I had been trying to have a baby for the past 3 years. I was diagnosed last year with Luteal phase defect and was told that I would have trouble maintaining a healthy pregnancy. I decided to try acupuncture and herbs to see if I could change the outcome. Premature Ovarian Failure
My journey with Harmony Acupuncture began when I was 37. I was trying to have a baby for at least 1 year with my new husband and was very unsuccessful. I was diagnosed by my RE as having premature ovarian failure and elevated FSH levels. I was devastated and a friend of mine told me that acupuncture might be able to help. I was very concerned because I hate needles and I am very skeptical about non-western medicine. I made the call finally and I have been going to the clinic for about 7 months now and my FSH is now at 10. I originally started with an FSH of 27 and my RE is very impressed that this number has dropped so significantly.

Elevated FSH
I just turned 40 in October and I am the very blessed mother of a beautiful boy who just turned 7 months old. My infertility journey began at the age of 37 when I was hit with the dreaded high FSH diagnosis much to my surprise, and given little hope of ever conceiving with my own eggs or carrying to term. Endometriosis
Hi. I am a 32 year old woman with severe endometriosis and I have severe episodes of pain that ensures each month as I ovulate. I have been through many drug therapies and many laproscopies to correct the abnormal growth and pain. A few months after I started doing acupuncture, I no longer experience the severe pain and I am able to lead a normal life. I am still working on my fertility with Harmony Acupuncture and I hope to conceive a child in the new few months.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
A year ago I was diagnosed with PCOS and I was told that I might not be able to conceive. My fertility doctor recommended a drug protocol and some acupuncture to see if I could in fact start ovulating again. My menstrual cycles were extremely irregular and sometimes over 100 days apart. Harmony Acupuncture recommended that I start doing weekly Reproductive Organ Massage to increase blood flow to my ovaries and uterus. After a few months on massage and herbs, I started menstruating about every 32 days. I am thrilled to let you know that I am currently pregnant with my first child and I am having a very healthy pregnancy. I can not imagine going without my weekly treatments since I feel so relaxed!

Recurrent Miscarriage
After 3 consecutive miscarriages that occur about the 12th week of pregnancy, my doctor suggested I try acupuncture. I was referred to Harmony acupuncture by a friend who had been going there for about 6 months. I met with the staff and decided to give it a try. I was now about 6 weeks pregnant and very concerned that I would in fact miscarry again because my medical doctors had thought that I had immune issues and bad egg quality. I was given herbs to help prevent the miscarriage and some dietary guidelines on what to eat and what not to eat. I looked forward to my relaxing sessions and I have just delivered a very healthy 9 lbs baby boy.

Male Infertility
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 4 years now and recently he has been diagnosed with poor sperm quality and morphology. After reading several articles on the internet regarding Chinese medicine and fertility enhancement, I decided to ask my doctor for a referral to an acupuncturist. I met with Harmony Acupuncture with my husband and we both decided to start treatments. We were told to get a baseline estimate on my husbands sperm and that it would take approximately 90 days to make some improvement in his sperm count etc. After the 90 days, we went back and re-tested and are very happy to say that things improved dramatically.
